Unternehmensbeschreibung
The Bavarian International School e.V was established in 1991 as a non-profit association (eingetragener Verein) to serve the international community of the Munich area. The school offers an excellent quality education with English as the principal language of instruction.
BIS is governed by a Board of Trustees and is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
There are 946 students attending BIS from over 45 different countries, speaking 32 languages. In 2011-2012 we will have 51 students in the graduating class. The major nationalities represented in the school are American, British, German, Italian and Spanish. The three school sections of BIS are the Lower School; Middle School (grades six - eight); and Upper School (grades 9 - 12).
